I noticed 1 of my Peking ducks limping and noticed this lump on her leg..she cannot put her foot down and I initially thought she had broken it. That was 5 days ago she is eating drinking and pooping as normal just doesn't stand on it. For the last 3 days she's in a large puppy cage on straw in the pond area so she can see the others.I have just sprayed it as you can see. I cannot find a vet with any real knowledge of ducks locally. Any help most gratefully received

:welcomeLooks like bumble which is an infection. You might be able to do some soaking in Warm Epsom salt water for a few days then try and open it up. Duck pus is thick and yellow so probably isn't going to run out we usually have to pick it out with a pair of sterile tweezers. Then treat with an antibiotic ointment and wrap till healed. Sometimes it take 2 times to get all the infection out so after a few days wrapped checked again. I been able to pick off the scab with my finger nail too just depends on how close to being ready it is.
