Hmmm it's hard to tell looks like a prolaspes but it isn't very big. Does it look like an egg in the red part? Does she stand with her tail towards the ground?

my son said yes to the tail at the ground...

She may be egg bound I would try giving her a warm bath and seperating her. But someone else might have some better information

She has either just laid an egg or needs to lay an egg. You're gonna need a pait of exam gloves and some oil. You need to insert a finger into the center of the prolapsed area to feel for an egg. Otherwise, the prolapse needs to be pushed back into the hen. The area will need to be well lubricated and hemerrhoid cream will help alot with redness and swelling.

This is exactly what I was going to say. Prolapse, even if you have never seen it before, you know exactly what it is when it happens.

Olive or vegetable oil. I have used K-Y in the past to try to lubricate to check for an egg and to help it's passing.

nevermind; found some stuff we use when we had to do rectal suppositories for our girls..

No egg; gently pushed it in...its pulsing tho..keeps sorta coming out a bit..will keep checking in on her...

do they recover?
