We have a chicken that is so different than the rest. He is mean fast and a bullying the others. He is bigger and is just so different from the rest. I'm not a fan.

Some individuals are just more prone to bullying then others. However, some breeds are also more prone to it. Do you know what breeds your others are?

Here is a link to help with bullying problems: http://www.the-chicken-chick.com/2013/03/chicken-feather-loss-cannibalism-causes.html

Best of luck!

We think they are different varieties of sex link and silkies. We just had another die last night. She had weak legs then stopped eating. We thought she was injured and put her in a different area with the others so she wouldn't get trampled. It's just a mess. I only wanted five, now I have ten total with half dead. The food I have is medicated and says it's fortified with viatims. This is my second round of chicks. The first (only 4) all ended up being roosters. I had none die and no sickness. I'm at a loss.

I'm sorry to hear that.

I would try treating them with corid to see if that helps. Try feeding them scrambled eggs to add some protein and vitamins as well.

The OP is using medicated feed, so I doubt it's coccidiosis. Where did you get them?
