I doubt it. The pus has a distinct odor I remember from other bumblefoot surgeries, and her foot still smells like that. It also is cheesy like pus I've removed before. So basically it smells the same and looks to be the same texture. And the parts where it's a thin scab are not only yellow but have brownish areas. That would be the only part that could possibly be new skin, but it still doesn't look like it. Also her foot is still way too big, so I know there still has to be pus inside for it to be that swollen. I don't guess I know what fat looks like in a live chicken though. On raw chicken we cook, the fat is covered in a slimy film which is not the case here. Would the fat cover the foot pad completely after it's all removed a day later?Could some of the yellow that keeps coming on the foot be fat or yellow skin that is starting to heal?
