I'd say scaly leg mites. Oil them up good! I'd do all of them. Won't hurt and could prevent the spread.

That is what I thought it looked similar to as well..but he has been in my house since he hatched..and the only chicks that he has been around have also only been in the house..I did notice though that the top of his leg does appear darker like a grayish purple color???and it wasn't like that a couple weeks ago..he looked fine. I will definitely put some oil on him though bc they do look dry.

Yeah definitely Vaseline those legs, it does appear to be scaley leg mites. Poor little thing .The only other thing that might do that is some sort of lymphatic disorder.

Update...he did not have leg mites...his legs slowly twisted and his toes oddly curled...his legs swelled a little more and got very thick...he started having issues walking...but he adjusted and was fine after this...I am still not sure what this was but no chickens I have ever had have had this and none since...it was very odd..
