I went down to my chickens earlier todays me found one f my old chicks who isn’t a pullet yet has a nasty cut on one side of her head. It looks deap and nasty and may of been for a new hopper I got for the flock that stops the rodents getting in (the one they stand on to open it). I had left it open last night so they could all get used to the new feeder and when I came down today it was closed and I saw the cut so I wondering f ou could advise me on what to do with my old chick. Whether I should leave it and let it heal or take her to a vet??? She isn’t been attacked or pecked much by the flock as they have all gotten used to each other by now. These are the cuts

You may want to dab a bit of Blu Kote on it. It's her earlobe looks like to me. Barring infection it should heal fine. Some of the tissue may die and eventually fall off depending on the damage.
Ok is it safe to let it heal naturally? I did see some funny movements today

What do you mean by funny movements?

For me personally, I usually don't "treat" a cut like that. IF no one is bothering the wound, then I leave it alone. A lot depends on what it looks like in person, I might dab on a bit of Blu Kote.
