We have a friend fostering a Bantam Americauna (?) who has a wing feather sticking straight out. It has been that way for several weeks. This hasn't happened to any of my girls. Anyone have any advice?
That happens once in a while, I would just catch her and cut the feather below the break/bend, or pull it out if it comes easily. She looks like a Silver Duckwing Old English Game.
I've had that happen to my girls once in a while. It doesn't seem to be a problem. Not sure why it happens. Eventually it seems to either fall off or go back into place, which I doubt.
I've never been alarmed if one feather sticks out, though.
