I found my baby goose in the coop on her back. She dosn't look healthy. She has black stool.
What antibiotics could I give her?

What has she been eating? Not sure on antibiotics since you haven't mentioned any other symptoms other than blk stool. Could the gosling gotten into anything toxic?I found my baby goose in the coop on her back. She dosn't look healthy. She has black stool. What antibiotics could I give her?![]()
I'm sorry to hear this. do you mean wry neck? it's not contagious. but the wheezing doesn't sound good. may want to put everyone on an antibiotic to be safe. although I am not a fan of antibiotics,. How old are your goslings?Sadly she died last night. I think she could of had wring neck because she was swinging her neck and wheezing but not for sure. I hope whatever it is that she didn't give it to anybody else.
If you suspect respiratory then you might want to treat all your flock as precaution. usually wry neck shows up quite a bit earlier than 10-12 weeks with what she was doing with her neck could she have gotten into something toxic? They are 10-12 weeks old. They are with all my other birds which are 5 older geese, a pair of moscovys, and some chickens. One of my male geese has took over the parenting role. Sorry I meant wry neck.
