So sorry your little one didnt make it. I have a soft spot for the little weak and deformed ones...Try my best -sometimes it work and they pull through...And never easy when they dont.

You took very good care of him while he was here! You're a good chikie-mama.
Something like this happened to me and someone explained that a hen-mama would have just pushed it to the corner and ignored it. You kept him warm and comfy and loved till then end.

IN my 6 hatches I had 2 ( different batches) Like this. Both did not make it past day 4. I tried everything I coul think of and everything I could find on here. I have learned the hard way, Mother nature knowes best! Wether we like it or not! Only the strong survive. Nextime I will not enterfere. It wont be easy. but it will be easier than having to cull a lil one again. That was so hard! I can do a big animal but just the thought of it being a baby......
