Help! When do I help?

I am not opening the incubator. I'm not, I'm not. It's so hard to watch them struggle. I have one chick with half of her head sticking out of the egg. The shell is half-way zipped. She has been in the same position for about 6 hours (maybe longer, she was like that when I woke up.) She is peeping and peeping but not really making any progress.

If I take her out, how do I keep her warm while I help her? When should I assume she won't make it out on her own? Thanks, this is heartbreaking!

read all the past posts.. leave it alone! it might take another day for it to get out.. once they pip, they still have a lot of yolk to absorb..

If you don't help them, sometimes they die.. If you do help them then most times they die..

go to a movie or to the mall..
