We have 3 BR hens that are just over one year old. The hen at the top of the pecking order has always acted the part but now is fluffing up and acting agressive to people and the dogs. When she does this, she becomes at least three times bigger! She is also sitting in the nesting boxes at night instead of her perch where she usually is. Is this broodiness? If so it is nothing like the others that have gone broody on us... Please help!
