I have a duck who is right now 10 months old will be 11 months the 18th of april... The last 6 days she has waited until she was let out of night pen to lay her eggs.. She chose a brush pile up against the privacy fence.. Up until today she was going in several times a day and staying on them for an hour or so each time.. This morning when I let her and Stanley out she had layed an egg in one of the 3 nesting boxes ( the same boxe she had used up until she started laying the in the hidden spot.. ( well I take that back for a week she had changed to another nesting box) the she started holding them till she was let out and then laying them.. I let them out every morning between 8 and 9... and before she always had layed her eggs before I let her out... The las 6 days she didn't lay them till may 10:00 or so.. Day 7 she leaves one in nesting box.

I have the 6 eggs that are hidden dated april 1-6. and the one in nesting box with todays date.. Are the 6 hidden ones still okay to eat. should I leave them there a little longer..
I have left the one in the nesting box too...
It has been in the 50' 60's at night here. and 70's to 80's during the day.. Have also gotten a little rain a few days ago.

I don't think she visited the eggs that are hidden any today..
Suggestions on how to handle this..
I can't see her having two nests..

I would not eat the older eggs. You can see blood vessels after only 4 days when you candle duck eggs in the incubator. A small body can be seen after 6 days. It would be bad to crack an egg and have to see that. Best is to collect the eggs daily and then refrigerate them. That way they will last longer in an edible state. Any heat will let them start to develop.
