Hi, my gal has been separating herself from the flock and trying to sleep outside the last couple nights. This morning she stayed in the coop for a long time and regurgitated a milky liquid. Today I noticed others were chasing her off and her comb is pale. I did see her eating today. I’ve checked her crop which seems squishy but not lumpy. I gave her a few squirts of water and olive oil mixed in a syringe.

I saw videos to massage it and bend her over to empty it but nothing happened. So I’m not even sure if there’s something else wrong. Right now she is separated in a tote in my shed with water only. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I wouldn’t put her upside down again-it can be bad for them. i am not a sour crop expert. Hold her and like squeeze her crop and smell for a bad odor.
I didn’t put her upside down rather, I bent over with her under my arm while massaging. Only in case she regurgitated it would come up and not down. No odor that I can smell.
