This started about two weeks ago after she was seperated from flock to treat for a bad mite infection.

Thought she was just drinking too much as some chickens do but even controlling how often and how much she drinks she still regurgitates several times a day. Usually 30-60 min after she eaten or drank she will start clacking her beak before starting to regurgitate, sometimes several times over the next 10 minutes. As far as I can tell she hasn't had any breathing issues yet and its usually over in a second or two but I'm still worried about her aspirating. Usually the regurgitation is a clear, slightly viscious liquid but depending on how recently she has eaten her chicken feed will be mixed with it. She does not have a yeasty or sour smell to the regurgitated food, liquid or herself and her crop is empty each morning and slightly squishy throughout the day. There is no fluid in her body or any lumps anywhere on her. She is eating and pooping regularly, normal and cecal poops with no blood though maybe 1-2 poops a day are extra watery.

She is occassionally a little wobbly on her feet but bright and aware and not lethargic and could just be because shes missing some toenails after a bit of frost bite over the winter.

Looking for any help on what this could be or how to get her to stop. Money is tight at the moment so any medication suggestions may not be feasible right now.

Is she up to date on worm treatments? A sure sign of worms is drinking a lot of water and not eating as much. At night her crop will be mostly water too. It would be good to give her a couple drops of dewormer or however you treat them.

It could also be from excess heat, but you didnt mention whether the weather was hot or not.

She's never been treated for worms but she's not had a chance to go outdoors yet as we had a very long winter and she was brought in for the mite treatment before the fellow chicks had their first time outside. She was in with some older chickens as well who could have passed it on I suppose but no other chickens had the same symptoms as her? She does not have a reduced appetite as far as I can tell though, she eats frequently throughout the day.

I'm having the same problem 😕
Welcome To BYC

Did you start a thread about your chicken? If you didn't, then it would be a good idea, you'll get more answers.
Post some photos of your hen/chick and her poop, tell us what you feed including treats, describe the symptoms and tell what, if any treatments you have given.
