Help with a brooder question please

Hello! So my plan is getting my 10’x16’ coop setup in the near future. Is it possible to set up by brooder inside the coop as there will be no other chickens in there. Obviously I’ll have heat and whatnot, but can this be done?
I just don’t see why having a brooder elsewhere when they coop is vacant. Thanks.
Not only can this be done, it should be done. The chicks will do so much better with lots of space, fresh air and access to the ground when they are very young.

Brooding in the coop is great!

The chicks have more space, you don't have the mess and odor in your house, and the chicks acclimate naturally to the outdoor conditions.

This is my article on my Outdoor Brooder: https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/run-to-outdoor-brooder-conversion.76634/

And this is a thread showing my setup in it as I transitioned from using half of it for the first week to keep the new-hatchlings close to their heat up to turning it into an integration pen: https://www.backyardchickens.com/posts/24479134

Yes, and it’s so much easier than brooding indoors.
