Hi, I have seven Cochin/Welsummer eggs (laid by my own hen) in my incubator and this is the 21 day of incubation. I read that I should hear chirps and see wiggling eggs, even before they make their first hole... Is that true? I don't hear anything. I MAY have seen one move early this morning, but it may have been wishful thinking. What can I do to help the hatch go smoothly? I have kept the temp at 99.5 and turn them 3 times a day, but stopped turning at day 19. I am really hoping this hatch goes well- we lost 2 legbar chicks and 4 ameracauna chicks last night- coyotes. :( If anyone can give me a little advice or help, it would be great. Thanks for looking!

By the way, I know they all are (or were) fertile. I saw those adorable little bodies inside on day seven when I candled.

Five have pipped! One seems to really want out, but is struggling- has been pipped since 11:00 pm yesterday and now it's 7:00 pm. Normal to be pipped that long?
