Help with a word: its driving me nuts!!!!

I'm trying to think of a word and I can't for the life of me. When I try to think of it the word resourceful comes to mind but thats not it. Its when you use what you have and you make the best of the situation. I means that you can roll with the punches. Also when my little brain tries to think of this word, I want to think it starts with a "C".

But I'm drawing a blank. Any help would be great!!!! lol
