Help with an aggressive cockerel?

I did think this was going to have to be the outcome
it is worrying seeing him around the children. Like he’s seeing them as an easy target. Especially because they are both so young, my sons 3, and my daughter is 18 months... so both me and mum know that if he were to catch one of them off guard he could do damage... more to their love for chickens... and I wouldn’t want either of them to

A long, hot bath with some onion, carrots and celery will settle him right down. I truly think that even if your mom were able to teach him to respect her, those kids will never be safe. He needs to go.
 
I would never rehome an aggressive cockerel. Especially one that goes after small children. Too much liability for one thing. I also don’t believe in dumping my problems off on someone else.
I know but I would give it to someone who doesn’t have kids and knows how to deal with aggressive chickens. You have a good point tho! :)
