Help with bedding...

I have been using the pine shavings from TSC. I bought some different shavings from a feed store as recommended for higher quality. When I got home, I noticed that the pieces were much smaller, like small animal bedding. Will this be okay for my 3 week old ducklings?

It should not be a problem just make sure they have access to grit Incase they ingest a piece.

The smaller flakes should be okay just make sure they aren't dusty. I've noticed the smaller shavings can be very dusty. I used it for my ducklings last year and it made them start coughing/sneezing. I had to change them out for the bigger flakes.
