Help with breed and maybe gender

They weren't supposed to be sex linked. We were are a heritage farm show, and bought what we were told was 6 heritage breed chicks, mixed flock

In looking at the breed threads more carefully, I think we also have a female red sex linked, and female black sex linked. We were told the black chicks were a java and a maran. I don't think so now.

One of ours is a Buff orp and another a barred rock from that clutch.

Well, that makes me feel better about the seller. But, a mixed flock of heritage birds will most likely give you mixed breed birds, unless the sellers were meticulous about separating breeds. Nothing wrong with mixed breeds, they're one of my favorites

The farm up the street from me took the rooster. They have an older Jersey Giant rooster that they believe will teach ours proper rooster manners.
