Rural King was having a dollar sale on a bunch of their chicks so I got some random ones. I would love some help figuring out what breeds they are. Pay no attention to the guinea hens! 🤣
I've tried to include a couple photos of each kind. Let me know if you need different angles or something

A dollar per chick? That's a great sale!

As for breeds, it's difficult to know for sure, so I will give some possibilities to get you started.

The black ones are probably Australorps. I'm guessing this because that is the most common breed of black chicken offered by places like Rural King. However, any that show feathers on the legs may be Marans or olive eggers.

The brown girl with the tuft of feathers on her head is an olive egger.

The blue ones may be blue Australorps, Sapphire Gems, Andalusians or olive eggers. Tough to tell at this stage.

The ones that are red with some white feathers are probably red sex links.

I see a couple of buff colored chickens, and I am not sure what those are-- probably some type of hatchery layer hybrids. And I think the brown chicken held by the little girl is also a hatchery hybrid.

They all appear to be pullets, as far as I can see. I think it will be easier to tell what they are when they are grown. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply! I meant to mention that in my original post that the black girls have feathers on their legs, And they are extremely soft, like really.
I think the gray ones are sapphire gems! That was one of the signs on one of the bins, but the chicks inside were all mixed up. Love your name, by the way. It's the same as one of my boys.
And yes, $1 per chick I couldn't pass up!

Any ideas with these two ladies are? Both have feathered legs but not feet.
