Help with breed identification of my rooster please

He is the one in the avitar I can't figure out how to add pictures directly to the thread. Easter egger means he is a mix right? Sorry new to this site chicken rearing as well. He was just so handsome I had to have him and he is big. Thanks

Easter egger means he has the genes for green or blue egg laying. Doesn't really matter for the roo, cause he isn't laying you any eggs! But if you wanted to breed birds that lay colored eggs, you could put him over some easter egger hens and have a pretty good chance of the female offspring laying green eggs.

An Easter Egger is basically the hatchery version of an Ameraucana. Avairy looks very Ameraucana-ish, except he has green legs, a true Ameraucana would have slate blue legs. But he does have a muff/beard, a pea comb, and classic Easter Egger rooster coloring. His daughters would very likely lay blue/green eggs.
