So I've had these ducks for a few months now. I have too many drakes, so I am going to try to think them out a bit by selling one hen and two drakes all together for I'm thinking $35. It will be 3 of the mallard marked ducks that I am selling, but the person I got them from had NO clue on breed, and every time I think I have it figured out, I see something that makes me second guess. So I thought the mallard marked ones were Rouen's but they are rather small, but they don't quite have the look of Call ducks too me...could they be poor quality calls? Rouen/Runner crosses? I need a good guess so I can sell them. Then I *think* the light brown/fawn colored duck is a Buff and that the all gray drake is a Buff drake...they are not large enough to be Khaki Campbell's and I also don't think dark enough...but I think they are too big to be Calls...but...and then the Black and white...Ancona? and the Large Drake pictured drinking with just one other duck...Silver Appleyard Drake? Thanks for any help! This has been driving me crazy.

They are ROUENS 3 males and a female is my guess!

It's hard to say for sure, it looks like you have a bit of mixes there. However try posting in the respective thread on the breeds you suspect they are. I had a similar issue in trying to identify some of my duck breeds, so I just stopped and enjoying them as they are.

I just think they are too small to be Rouens though...Rouens are about the size of Pekins, and these are only about as big as wild ducks. I don't really care what breed they are, but for the 3 I'd like to sell I'd like to have a good idea. Thanks to all who have responded. Sorry the pics aren't great....they were VERY skittish around people when we got them.
