Help with breed please?!

Hey!

I got these chicks from TSC, they are 11 weeks old, almost 12 weeks. I thought I had gotten a mystic maran which were labeled straight runs. I quickly realized I definitely had a cockerel but he doesn’t look like a mystic maran rooster I don’t think? I’m probably wrong so I just wanted some confirmation

I also have this bearded lady also. She was in a bin labeled Cornish rock, olive egger and golden laced Wyandotte. Another bin was labeled barred rock and ISA brown. I had originally asked for an olive egger in my selection but was told they didn’t have any. So I asked for 2 ISA browns, 2 barred rock, and 2 wyandottes, I was distracted while they were picking out the chickens so I didn’t see what was actually picked but I had this girl who didn’t look like any of the other chicks I got. I figured she must have been an olive egger but again, just wanted confirmation

Other than the little bit of feathers on the legs of the one, it just looks like a barred rock. I don’t see anything mystic about it. The other one is definitely an Easter egger/americauna.

The marans is a sex-link. Females are black, males are barred.

….No. BRs never have leg feathers or pink skin, not to mention the fact that the bird is male and single barred, implying it is a sexlink. So it was labeled correctly.

While barred rocks don’t have feathered legs, Marans do, which is where this one must have gotten its feathered legs if it is a barred rock/maran cross.

I was under the impression the mystic marans was a sex link black copper marans and cuckoo marans breeding?

I’ve read three different articles on three different websites and that’s what they said. They didn’t say barred maran, said barred rock. Maybe I’m wrong.
