I put my mini lops in together for about 10 minutes today. he humped her about 4 times, about 10 seconds each time. but he never fell over. Did he really breed her? should I try again later today and tomorrow? Thanks!

I am not sure, they were housed together for the past month. I just got them as a pair a few months ago and they just got seperate cages lastnight. I am going to try again tonight. Also I felt to make sure she wasn't already pregnant before trying to breed them. And she didnt run away she just sat there when he was breeding her.

I'm trying to understand this. Are you saying that you have had them in the same cage for a month, separated them last night, and put them together today to try to get them to breed? Forget it! Give them at least a couple of weeks apart to be sure she isn't already pregnant, then try putting them together (after making sure the doe is ready).

I just got them a few days ago, the person who had them before me had them housed together for a month. I'll give her a month to see if she has any kits. thanks!

although she has been hanging out in the nesting box today...we will see if we end up with babies. She is also not very active at all. she just lays around, even when I have her out in the grass.
