actually we have 2 females, and the male (the other girl isn't pictured), as well as 2 young pekin - as yet unsexed.

There's also a young white roo in the mix...

at 6 weeks old, the hens start quacking, the drakes will make a raspy peep sound.

Hrm, I'm going to assume that by the way you said that, there is a big difference between a 'duck' and a 'mallard'. I always love to learn about poultry, would you be willing to explain the difference? Is it a difference of domestication? Pattern of feathering? Gender? (I did notice the bars, is that the indicator?).

I'm excited to learn!

im hoping for a pair but i think mine are both hens grrrr i was so hoping for a drake
