Here are a couple of chicks I hatched out of some not so pure eggs.

Any thoughts on what they might be.

Chick 1:
Started out yellowish, now turning white.

Also I'm guessing chick 1 is a Roo, but not sure on chick 2. Has a different comb then the rest of my chicks.

Thanks!

Thanks, I was thinking something along that line.

I was looking at a lot of pictures of chickens today and I'm thinking the first one might be some sort of California White mixed with something else.

Pure guess on my part. I would guess these are PURE Barnyard Mutts!

#1 either Cochin or Langshan roo. Cochins usually have better foot feathering unless it is hatchery stock.

#2 is a Dominique. The comb is large so it could be a roo, but the dark coloration is more typical of a pullet.

Thanks, gives me something else to do some research on!! Thanks!

I can pretty much say for certain that these 2 no matter if they are roos or not will be staying with us. These were the first 2 that I hatched, and they both come running for me when I go out to the coop. They climb all over me, and I doubt I'll be able to every get rid of them!

Now my Barred Rock roo that doesn't like me, all I can say about him is "YUM!!!"
