This is sort of a misleading topic header. I have 16 chicks between 5 and 6 weeks old in 2 different brooders. All were together but started picking eachothers backs clean. They still are picking but not quite as bad. Never had this problem with other batches before and have excluded mites, lice etc.. Would like to move them to a tractor for more room but am worried that they will not know to stay near a heat source in the coop section at night. Usually wait to about 8 weeks to move the chicks outside. Advise appreciated.
