Hi I won't to bye this brooder but people say you have to take down the temperature by 5 degrees f but do I have to do that with this one

It's not very big. Wouldn't want to keep them in that small a space for more than a week. Better off to build your own brooder. I don't know if you can get "Rubbermaid" or "Sterlite" containers in the UK? If you can, a 190 liter one would be ideal. Put a heat lamp with red bulb over the top and make it height adjustable. Or build one of wood and hardware cloth if your a DIY'er. In the "States" they sell for around $18. HTH

I bought a DVD cabinet from a 2nd hand store for $20 and converted from to a brooder. It is 24"w by 47"l by 20"deep. 1/3 is heated.

I'll put up a better photo when i get home tomorrow night.
