help with candling please :)

Thank you so much. He's just lay there at the moment :/ but then has a good wiggle. Will leave him as he is for now. This hatching lark is stressful stuff @c0urtmarie right?!
He maybe but it will dry and fall off then he'll be fine, don't touch it at all just let it fall off natural. you can even place him in a small bowl lined with a soft towel until he is free of the egg so he doesn't end up dragging it around. Kathy if your still here please respond about what i just said.

Main thing is him dragging the bottom half of the shell and it snagging on something and being pulled off and bleeding hence the bowl to keep him still till it has a chance to dry and fall off on it's own, so just keep an eye on it.

Will it not hurt him if the shells still attached?

It won't hurt him it will dry and fall off on it's own, you just don't want it to prematurely and you don't want to touch it because you can have bacteria on your hands that can get into it. How does the belly look does it look like the yolk sac has gone in?

He's really Tring to get out now so he's just gone into the cup. The yolk is probably the size of my thumb nail. It's all really dry in there. I nearly said the size of 1 pence piece then and realised you have dollars :') it's been a long day haha!
