Help with dimensions

Hi - I have 8 broiler chicks 1 week old
I think 2 are roosters and 6 are hens

I also ordered 6 show hens and
1 show rooster

Do I need to separate the roosters and hens? Do I separate them from the hens with wood or screen? Do I separate the roosters from each other? Do I build different houses for the hens and roosters? Will the new chicks get along with the fast growing broilers?

What square feet or dimensions should the coop and the run be? We are both engineers so give me all the math that you have.

When can I put the broiler chicks outside in the coop? We will run power to it. They are getting big (and smelly) fast in our new house's basement.

The reason for the amount of chickens is that I decided to keep the broiler chicks and give them a good life until they keel over. We ordered the show chicks as a replacement but now it is a total!

Check this thread for space requirements.

I would seperate the shows from the broilers.
I would seperate the show roosters from the show hens,
unless you want them to breed. If left together all the time the show hens may end up missing quite a few feathers.
After the broilers get so big they can barely walk they may whish they were in someones freezer.

Transplanted Texan, I read that post but I am confused about whether it means
2ft x 2ft = 4 sq ft or
4ft x 4ft = 4 ft sq
This would make something either twice as big or half as small. 4 ft sq has always meant 2ft x 2ft to me in school and at work but I wanted to make sure before I take on the huge project. Someone else might mean something different.

I don't want to breed. My husband wanted a foghorn leghorn rooster because they are cool.

I'm envisioning a central square building with 4 quadrants and one run on either side divided with wire.
