help!! With duck eggs update..there hatching!!!

Am I doing the right thing. I have 6 duck eggs pipped and in lockdown.
I have a Brinsea ECO 20. Both water chambers are full and there are some paper towels in the bottom.
My humidity keeps going to 60%. So I opened it reall fast and misted the eggs. Then the humidity jumps to 75%, but I drops back down to 60% eventually.
Is it OK to keep misting, or will this dry out the eggs.

Try putting in another small bowl of water with a sponge in it I had to do that with my duck eggs I am hatching now.

It helped bring my humidity up to 85% from about 60%
