Help with egg!

Hi! I have an egg in the incubator that has been hatching for like 8 hours! It is just broken through the shell I tiny bit and that how it was the whole day! What should I do? Is that normal?

Can you take a picture? It’s normal to take up to 48 hours to hatch after the first external pip

It’s still alive.

This is normal. Do not take it out of the incubator anymore, or you can risk shrink wrapping it. If it has only been 8 hours, it is still observing its yolk sac. Leave it be, as it will take up to 48 hours until you should be worried
