Good luck... it is hard to know what the right thing to do is sometimes. Don't be too hard on yourself. If it does get out of the shell and hasn't absorbed everything. Continue to keep it warm, but I would put a slightly moist paper towel underneath it so it doen't stick to what it is laying on and it stays clean.

Look up 'step by step guide to assisted hatching' on this site. I'm on my phone otherwise id link you. It always calms me when I'm hatching. Don't be too hard on yourself I think you are doing ok, it could be worse. Even if the worst happens, you have learned so much for next time
