Help with eye issue

Looking for some help with my handsome Crested Cream Legbar roo Gonzo. Not sure what happened if he was pecked in the eye or what, but it is swollen shut, with pus oozing out. We have been cleaning it out and putting drops in it and polysporin around it. However we have been reading that we are supposed to try and remove all the white stuff out of it. Looking for a some opinions.

Is he having any symptoms of a respiratory disease? Does that white material that is coating his eye, come off? What are the drops you are giving him? He needs antibiotic eye drops or ointment, and possibly, an oral antibiotic. Do you know a vet that you can consult? If so, I would talk to them about helping him. If not, I would clean his eye with saline eye wash (available at drug stores and Walmart,) twice a day, and try to get any pus out. Here is a good antibiotic eye drop that you might be able to order:
