I have 6 chicks, 5 are doing wonderful but my RIR isn't doing so well. The day before yesterday I noticed she pooped blood once and is really lethargic so on the suspicion of cocci I put them on corid. She is a bit smaller then the others and way more lethargic (not super engaged with surroundings, doesn't scratch at the ground or interact much with the others, often by herself). They aren't picking on her, and she will pick at the food dish.

I put some electrolytes in the water and have been feeding her some by dropper a few times a day. I even mixed some with a little boiled egg yolk and fed her that twice today. I have seen her poop twice and one was watery and one looked pretty normal.

Any recommendations on what I should do for her besides what I'm currently doing?

Oh honey I'm so sorry. That's hard to experience. I know first hand. I just had two 4/5 day old RIR's pass. Same symptoms. I did what you're doing. Which I think is all you really can do. You're doing a wonderful job of trying to nurse this youngin to health. I've heard that the first 10 days are crucial in a chick. Some of mine that passed were hatched by my broody. These recents were from a feed store. There are so many things it could be. Keep doing what you're doing and pray. I will too. Maybe someone else will have a bit more information and suggestions for you. God Bless. (I did notice that my girls were getting trampled by the other chicks so I separated them to keep them safe. Keep watch for that. They don't mean to.)
Ps.... Post your concerns in the emergency and diseases thread. I'm sure you'll get some knowledgeable responses.)

Well my baby Chick passed overnight. I knew she'd be gone this morning as last night she was no longer standing or letting me feed her. I feel bad but I did the best I could to give her a shot. Thanks for the kind words, and at least the rest of my little flock is doing well.

I have two barred rocks, two different looking Easter eggers and a silver laced Wyandotte left.

goes out to you. It's never easy to lose a loved one. Pets are no different. I will continue to pray for your comfort and your remaining babes. God bless.
