This poor goose has a feather problem.
I thought she was molting at first, but it's been a while and they look worse.
She came to my Mom looking this way so I was wondering what I can do about it.
These pics aren't the best, but they are of her wings and back.
You can see some skin in her elbow area. Any ideas or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

Does she have a pool to bathe in to keep her feathers in tip top shape? and diet could be the cause of it too, I saw where she'll only eat cracked corn that's not giving her the nutritional benefits to keep her in good health too, grazing on some good pasture or yard with some good poultry vitamins will help get her back to good health have you checked her for lice or mites/ most water fowl don't have a problem if they can bathe often but something is dif going on with her and it would be a good idea to look for parasites. What breed is she/ and how old.

Thank you for the info. I don't know how old she is, and I think she's an African goose...I'll have to get some sod to plant since she can't free graze. I'll check into getting vitamins for her.

She would probably like some Romaine lettuce, cabbage and kale and also chopped collards I hang the cabbage heads up and my flock loves to tear off pieces, also the Romaine, then the collards I chopped for them and sometimes I can find kale in large bags marked down. I don't have alot of grass here either living on the side of a mountain so I have to supplement too.
