Hello,
Just joined. I live in Pueblo and bought two "pullets" at a Pueblo animal swap and was told that they both were sexed, from a hatchery, and were hens. They do appear to be beautiful pure bred Light Brahmas, normally a gentle breed----which is what they are. So I raised them and turned them in to pets only to find they are both roosters. I would like to find a home for one of them and hate to see him killed. Any ideas on where I might find a home for him? I am not having any luck. He is friendly, likes being held, is non-aggressive, and is quite beautiful. Thanks.

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! You've gotten some good suggestions/ links above for finding homes for your boys, also try local places like Craiglist and feed store bulletin boards. Good luck finding them homes.

Welcome to BYC, Steve! TwoCrows has given you some good advice and links to check out. Good luck in finding a home for your rooster.

You should stress he is docile etc. and would make a good pet - I bet if there was a picture of him someone would grab him up.
