Help with harching and raising chicks

hi all. I'm new to chickens and have a small broody bantam about to hatch 5 eggs. If I let Mom take care of them, can I also pick them up and get involved so they are friendly?
Also, should I vaccinate then put Mom back in coop to integrate in 5 days? I will only have 1 cochin in the small coop.

That is up to you. Yes you can handle the chicks. I allow my broody to integrate the chicks she will protect them

Thank you. I guess I should move momand eggs into a bin for a few days while they hatch. Then put back in coop for the rest of the raising. Does that make sense?
