help with hatching

still no more have hatched or even look like they have pipped
i think i stuffed this batch up...

Aww, poor little things. Hatching can be so heartbreaking.

Before you toss the eggs, check the air cells and make sure they are developed properly. In those that are fully developed but unhatched, you want to see between 1/4 and 1/3 of the egg bright (i.e., air cell). If not, then you've got underdeveloped air cells and need to adjust your incubation humidity (i.e., the humidity prior to lockdown, which is different than what you want during lockdown). Lower humidity during incubation will produce larger air cells. Too-small air cells result in drowned babies. Too-large air cells result in underdeveloped babies.

Then, of course, you know to run your lockdown humidity much higher next time, and hopefully you'll have much better luck. Looking forward to seeing how it goes for you!

that chick in the photo looks like the egg yolk is still attached and large. this happens if the temp and humidity are not right. basically he hatched too soon. the 9th to the 24th is only 14 days and that is not long enough it should be 16-22 days and 16 is early. sounds like the heat was too high or did you put the eggs in all at once or on separate days as they were laid?
Next time add all the eggs on the same day and after 24 hours start counting so if you put them in at 8am on the 3rd it would be one day on the 4th after 8 am. get it? anyway sorry for your loss and good luck next time.

From my limited experience... (& I have had pipping minus hatching problems, as well as feet & neck issues)....
At first, I thought humidity was everything, that they were dried out & unable to hatch....
But I discovered the actual problem was ventilation!
If ventilation is fine, they grow stronger, and vwalaa hatch rates improve - no matter the humidity (within reason).
Those pictures look very similar to mine before I increased ventilation.
I didn't want to increase it because I was battling to keep humidity but it seems oxygen levels are more vital than humidity levels.
