Help with Hen Names

These are my flocks names they are 8 weeks tomorrow
I have an old west false front coop, So I had a bunch of old fashion names chosen, when I got them, one by one I held them, looked at their features and chose their names.


BCM - Opal, Matilda, Winifred
Lavender Orpingtons - Iris and Lila
Welsummers - Bess and Ella Mae
Lt Brown Leghorns - Ivy and Amelia
Easter Eggers - Egberta and Bunny
Olive Egger - Olivia
Blue Ameraucana - Phoebe
Gold Laced Wyandotte - Sadie
Blue Laced Red Wyandotte - Rose
Silkies - Prudence and Pearl
Crested Cream Legbar - Miss Prissy

Roos - BCM - Cogburn
Columbian Wyandotte - Longmire

Love the roos names!

With 80+ hens I got a lot of names up my sleeve! let me know if you need anymore suggestions.

The chickens really don't care if you know their name…just pick one for all and you'll always be right..

Only 2 of my six know their names…my favorite Lillie and the one always in trouble Big.

My dad used to call both great granddaughters "slick"…each thought it was unique!
