Help with huge lump on abdomen

Please help me treat this sweet hen. She had been going through a molt, for the past 3 weeks or so. She has been standing with her tail end pointed down , labored breathing and straining as if trying to lay. She has a huge lump on her lower abdomen, it is firm. I have her separated, soaked her in warm water using advice I've read on other posts from this forum. She just seems so uncomfortable. Will you look at this photo for me? Any thoughts ? Her vent area looks completely normal. I hate seeing her suffer.

She sounds a bit like she could be an internal layer or suffering from egg yolk peritonitis or ascites (fluid in the belly.) Is her lower belly spongy or tight as if it is filled with fluid? Can you feel any hard masses. Has she lost weight near her breast bone? I would put on a rubber glove, and insert a finger 1-2 inches inside to feel for a stuck egg or anything abnormal.
