Just received 13 adoption chicks and they are a week old now. Any takers on identifying the breeds?

the one with feathered legs is either a cochin or a brahma im going with brahma the one with the crest is a polish the chick with the spot is a barred rock cant really see the rest need closer pics

The black one could be Jersey Giant , Black Cooper Marans. The black one with light coloring could be Jersey Giant, Domimique or Barred Rock. Check the light brown one with good feather development on the wings. If it has willow or a greenish tint to it's legs' it could be a Easter Egger. Picture 3 shows one with poo on his back side. Keep an eye out for pasty butt, make sure no dried poo keeps the chicks from being able to relieve them selves. Gently wash off any dried poo with a soft cloth or you could tear their skin. Make sure to check all chicks every day. Here is a link to a chick Identification chart, pay close attention to leg color, beak color and any markings. Some chicks closely resemble each other leg color could really help with trying to Identify your chick. https://meyerhatchery.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009871752-Day-Old-Chick-Identification

I’ve been washing two of their butts every day at least once. I actually got Vaseline today to put on one that keeps getting poopy butt.

I took more pictures. I really appreciate the help. I never thought about Jersey Giant! I’m going to get some close ups for all of you experts.

They live in my living room so I check on them constantly at least ever hour. I’m even up at night checking on them. I was going to put them in the sunroom (windows close but no heat) but it’s unseasonably cold here in Maryland so they are house pets for now which I don’t mind at all. If I could get away with it they would be in my bedroom Lol.

This one looks a lot like my Buckeyes when they were little, the coloring and the darker tip on the beak. But there is a lot of other breeds with similar coloring. If this chick gets a pea comb I would say Buckeye.

Thank u. I think this Easter egger is a roo because he is top dog of the 13 chicks already and he tries to peck me already!

Yes. I was thinking buckeye. I have 3 of them and they are all much smaller than the other 10 chicks. Are buckeyes usually a lot smaller?
