I need someone to help with my incubator, i have a hova-bator 1602n, it is a thermal air flow model. I tried hatching some eggs but no chicks.

My frist question is how do you get the humidity to go up, i filled up the two areas that it says to fill up. I got nothing it stayed at 38%-40% and throught day 1-18. On day 18 throught 21 it stayed at 38%-40% i could not get it to go up.

So i am trying to get it ready for some more eggs, i am going to pick some up form my uncle. I have the incubator going and i have been trying to get the humidity to go up but i can not get it passed 43%. I even tried to put a little computer fan in there to try to make something happen but nothing.

So if anyone can help me that would be great thanks..

For the first 18 days 43% is plenty high. For the last 3 days try adding a wet sponge in a butter lid or a wet sock.
