I have chicken eggs on day 11 incubation, with auto turner. I also had a mother hen laying on some for about 11 to 18 days.. Not sure when she started because we were out of town. The eggs got cold, then warm, then cold, then warm, she had about 25ish under her, more than she could handle, it appeared. Yesterday she abandoned them. I left them alone but today she still had no interest. She as our only one laying. They were candled but no movement. I put the eggs into my incubator and now all have movement. My problem is I don't know how old they are! How do I know when to stop turning them? Will my 11 day old ones be ok? Also, the incubator stinks now. Please help!

If you candle the ones that you collected from underneath the hen start to cloud in so much that I can almost see nothin. I would suggest to put them under a heat lamp with damp rags around them to lower the temperature but add humidity to the air. I have never tried this but I think it might work.
