Hello, we are new to owning fowl. Haven’t had any problems with chickens in the last year, but decided to get ducks a few months back. We got 3. Late June one of them had bumble foot, I treated it with silver honey and wrapped it and gave her epson soaks every other day, as well as crated her. Bumble foot was gone and she started apply wait to get foot, with a little limp. So I decided to let it swim with its friends and the 4th day of doing this she hobbled out of the crest and dashed faster then I have ever seen her to get away from me. She ended up tumbling down the coop ramp. And I am pretty sure her other foot is broken. I live in a very Rual area, and honestly can’t afford a vet at the moment, is there anyone that can give me any advice? My husband thinks this duck has been more of a hassle and would be fine with putting it out. I just want to fix it. We were told all 3 were girls but I think this one is a male, curly tail low raspy voice, a lot quieter then the other 2. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Can you send pictures?

If you see a callus or scab, soak it with Epsom salt to soften the scab or callus, then you can carefully remove it with a sharp scalpel, and then you can add drawing salve and wrap it.

Bring the duck to a warm, dry place where it can get food and water easily.
I can't help much with a broken leg. I recommend going, but I know you said you don't have the money for it. The only thing I would recommend is just keeping the duck still and calm and maybe giving her some calcium and seeing if it goes away to see if she can walk again. Especially after you treat its bumblefoot.
