Sadly, a fox attacked my three chickens yesterday leaving two dead and one (my beloved Coffee) with a bite injury at the back of her neck.
Since the attack she refuses to eat or drink and would not leave the comfort of her coop. She's walking, keeping her head up and even laid an egg this morning, but feather keep coming off her and she's clearly badly distress.
My questions are:
1. What should I do to treat the bite injury?
2. What can I do to help her (and me) overcome the emotional trauma?
Many thanks,
