I recently took on A rooster for my flock. I had him with my flock for about 3 weeks before I realized how infested he was with lice. I have had to remove him and dispose of him due to his crazy mean attitude and aggressive behavior towards myself, kids and flock. I am wondering what I can do to treat my coop and my current flock for lice as a preventative measure? I have checked a few of my hens and I don't see anything too alarming. I was told to use DE food grade but I am uncertain about that. Please let me know what I can do.

Permethrin.
Get permethrin.

These two products will work.
They are both premixed and ready to use.
You can also buy straight permethrin to mix with water to use.

Does this kill living and larva? What does the treatment process look like? I'll do some research thank you
