Help with mallards ducks

I have a mallard duck that is sitting on a nest with 5 eggs. My husband noticed today that there was a nest after he notice that there wasn't any duck eggs. We got the mallards in April this year.
How do you tell if they r Fertile?
How long do it take for them to hatch?
