My local feed store did not get roos in when the chicks came therefore my roo is 4 weeks younger than the girls. I try letting them "mingle" and the hens just want to peck the tar out of him, he runs for a while then just gives in hides his head in a corner and lets them peck. Any ideas, the hens are 8 weeks and he is 4 weeks. He is very happy and content out side running around as long as he is no where near the girls. Please help I really need to get them to "just get along".
